Errors reported in some voter information cards
Elections Canada is reporting some wrong information on some Cranbrook area Voter Information Cards.
James Hale, Elections Canada Media Relations Advisor for British Columbia, reported April 16, “Some Cranbrook-area residents may have received Voter Information Cards from Elections Canada with incorrect information about polling places.
“To ensure you know where to cast your ballot, please go to www.elections.ca and insert your postal code for the correct information regarding your polling station.”
In addition, eligible residents may vote by Special Ballot until April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Elections Canada Returning Office: 602 Baker Street, Nelson, Hale noted.
The federal election is April 28.
