First ever Antiques and Collectibles Faire
On April 29 the Cranbrook History Centre is opening the doors of the Alexandra Hall (pictured) to offer its first Antiques and Collectibles Faire.
We will have tables around the hall and invite businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals to rent tables for the day to display their antiques, vintage and collectible items for sale.
People renting the tables to sell items will be able to bring their items to the Alexandra Hall beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 29.
The items on the tables will be priced and will remain until 4 p.m. to sell to the public.
The Alexandra Hall will be open for the day and the public will have free access to view the items that have been displayed for sale. In addition, during this faire, the History Centre is hosting its first ever Antiques and Collectibles Roadshow. This will feature two local experts on site offering verbal appraisals of up to two items for $30. This event will also be open to the public to attend.
The number of tables available for rent will be assigned as ‘First Come – First Served’ and will be reserved in the order in which the application forms are filled in and returned to the History Centre main desk, together with the rental fees.
If you would like to join us and rent a table to sell your antiques and vintage items, please be prompt in contacting the Main Desk at the Cranbrook History Centre, 57 Van Horne St. South; 250-489-3918.
