For Generations to come

City of Cranbrook acting mayor Diana J. Scott and Generations Garden Project Committee manager Pat Adams cut the ribbon to officially open the Cranbrook RecPlex garden on Wednesday, July 25.

The garden, located near the outdoor exercise area and south entrance of the RecPlex, was planted by local children, with guidance from seniors, as part of a New Horizons For Seniors program. Participating children observed the brief ceremony, with acting mayor Scott noting her appreciation of the efforts and the benefits to the city, and a lunch concluded the opening.
