Friends help library secure program and books

The Friends of the Cranbrook Public Library presented our Chief Librarian Ursula Brigl with a cheque of $21,310.34 to pay for the coordinator of the Summer Reading Club and for additions to our books in circulation.

We are raising this money through grants but most of it is from donations from you, the general public, of gently used books, CDs, DVDs, puzzles, and games. Thank you so much and please, keep them coming.

Our faithful volunteers are on standby to sort your donations and get ready for our next Book Sale February 5 and 6, 2026.

With cutbacks of all levels of government our efforts are more needed than ever to keep our library to be the safe and free place of learning, interacting, meeting friends and naturally escape into a good story.

Thank you all for being part of this effort.
