Fund established to aid family in difficult time
A fundraising account has been established to support a Cranbrook family navigating a medical emergency.
On August 18, 2023, the Rousselle family of Cranbrook, faced a devastating diagnosis: their youngest child, 10-year-old Boston, has ALL-B Leukaemia.
The news has been particularly triggering for the family, who previously lost their son Jaxson and supported father Mike through a life-altering accident.
Boston, a gentle soul who loves hockey, lacrosse, and wake surfing, started chemotherapy just days after the diagnosis at Alberta Children’s Hospital in Calgary.
Friends, family, and the community are coming together to support the Rousselles with additional costs for Boston’s care, successful treatment, and quick return to Boston’s favourite activities.
A few words from his sister Montanna: “Boston loves to participate in sports. He mostly loves hockey, lacrosse, and wakesurfing. I would describe him as a gentle soul. He is kind to everyone and loves to become friends with anyone he meets. He’s always thinking about others. He is also very curious and loves to ask questions.”
