Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services’ B shift responded to a structure fire this morning.

A detached garage and one vehicle were damaged by fire this morning (Feb. 1) on 7th Avenue in Cranbrook.

The fire was knocked down soon after arrival of fire crews, and did not spread to any neighbouring structures or property.

There were no injuries as a result of the fire.

Initially two fire engines with five firefighters arrived on scene and an additional five firefighters were called in to assist.
