According to our Western culture and traditions, December is a time for giving. Largely during Sagittarius time, the enthusiasm builds towards Christmas. Sagittarius in general and at best reveals characteristics of joviality, gregariousness and generosity of spirit. At deeper levels, Sagittarius is concerned with the bigger picture, larger visions, philosophy, ethics, principles and the deeper meaning and purpose of life in general.
Answering these questions generally can lead to answers that invariably take on spiritual and religious tones. The basic answer is that yes, life does have intrinsic meaning and purpose woven into it. Beyond the notion of faith, the clear evidence of this is revealed in our Astrological Birth Chart. Dec. 4 – 10
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
You are learning to see the world as with new eyes. This includes seeing a bigger picture yet with the details clearly outlined. In some respects what you see may be hard to take. Endings on relationship fronts may especially prove difficult. Although rebirth follows death, it is the ending process that must be endured first. Each phase serves its own purpose so give each their time and due.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
In this process of deep changes occurring within you and/or in your world, some stages are more activated and perhaps challenging than others, like now perhaps. Yet sometimes it is such difficult times that evoke creative inspiration and resolve to succeed. The time has come to bring the next phase of what makes you special into the world. The keyword now is vision.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21)
New commitments on relationship fronts remain in the spotlight. A weave of practical strategies and spiritual attitudes characterize portions of this plot. There may even be dashes of love and romance mixed in. Yet the focus will shift this week. You will be called upon to give more yet. Fortunately, you will likely feel more willing and able to do just that.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Health is perhaps the single most important thing in life. It can be attributed to mind, emotions, body and soul. Whole health addresses all of the above. This is a central theme now in your life. Are you as healthy as you would like to be? Does denial and complacency play roulette with your present and future happiness? The only person who really needs to know is you.
Leo (July 22 – Aug 23)
A new momentum is beginning to build. The cyclic waves it implies will continue for many months, years even. Yet the turn of the tide has begun. Your task now includes having a plan and building a realistic foundation. This may require returning to the drawing table. Focus to get clear and organized and you will feel the rush of power and enthusiasm you have been dreaming about.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
Some big shifts are occurring close to home. These may also be described as activating you at core levels. Either way, you are in a good position to make some big moves. Your leadership potential will shine especially as you tap into weaving your broad visions with practical and realistic measures. Work within at least as much as without so your core strengths are activated.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
An extra busy cycle continues. Attending to matters on a variety of fronts is implied. Balancing work with social and cultural activities is featured as well. But now you are determined to take things to their next effective level. You mean business both literally and figuratively. Bringing your talents and efforts to the fore is fine, but you need to be rewarded and handsomely to remain enthusiastic.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
Some big dreams and visions that have been brewing in the back of your mind for some time have now come to the forefront. To succeed you may have to make a series of very real investments. ‘Paying your dues’ may best describe this process. Doing the inner work has been necessary and will continue. Yet the time has come to explore new avenues of possibility.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
Balancing an expansive urge with disciplined thought and action continues. This may well include breaking through limiting perspectives. As well, knowing who you can count on and who you cannot is important. Feeling things out among friends and other possible allies remains ideal. Now the focus is turning to nurture those alliances that feel genuine.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
You may feel as though you are undergoing a steady process of shedding skins. This can be an awkward and uncomfortable process. On the other hand, you are already beginning to reveal your new skin. This process is destined to continue for a while, so be patient with it and with you. Be willing to share your wisdom yet also be receptive to the wise instruction of others too.
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
Circumstances of late are revealing some of your true colors. This is a good time to step back and review what is going on. At best you are seeing a bigger picture, travelling perhaps, in-tune with larger affairs in the world and/or simply feeling optimistic about the future. Of course, you may also be quite aware of the plight of humanity. Whatever is happening take note to know yourself better.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
Your world is beginning to open up. However, this expansive process comes with the sober realization of the efforts, duties and responsibilities implied. With your ambitions on a steady rise the answers you seek are quite simple: concentrate and follow through. The time is right to gain more exposure, yet do not take anyone or anything for granted. You are in something of a probationary period.
