Last week’s Solar Eclipse New Moon in Scorpio comes to its first quarter or half-moon and will now wax to full. The effects of the eclipse will now be revealing its destined influences. Despite the foundation of existing and larger cycles, the current influences will become clearly apparent now over the coming week especially if this rare and powerful triple conjunction of Sun, Moon and Venus at zero degrees Scorpio activated key planets or angles in your chart.
In the event that you have more than one planet or angle receiving the influence, the interpretations and more importantly the effects will be compounded. To gain the deeper story, your Birth Chart must be assessed as a whole. Your free will remains an important factor. It is largely about how you both co-create situations and handle circumstances which arise beyond your immediate cause or control.
These influences will linger for the next six months and will prove life-changing linked to significant endings and beginnings. Sometimes, events even occur ‘prior’ to the actual eclipse date when other culminating cycles produce links and bridges. This is an example of the organic and non-linear expression of Astrology, which measures a convergence of natural, cyclic processes.

Oct. 31 – Nov. 6
Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)
Some significant changes are underway and you are playing an active role in making them happen. Because you want to deepen bonds you are willing to take the necessary action. Some form or training is implied. The learning curve includes ‘unlearning.’ This involves breaking habits and/or adjusting habitual modes of perception and personal conduct.
Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)
For the sake of greater harmony in your most significant relationship, paying close attention to the quality of your communications is the call now. You will notice your commitment levels increase as well. These may be to your resolve and not necessarily to certain relationships. With your confidence levels rising, you will push harder than usual.
Gemini (May 21 – June 21)
Some noticeable shifts in your daily routine should be apparent now or ideally will be soon. These may well be linked to the health and quality of your lifestyle. Yet the focus may also be upon a training or apprenticeship process. This could include the care of others. Either way, your ambitions have been activated and now comes the discipline to follow through.
Cancer (June 21 – July 22)
Seeds sown recently are beginning to sprout. Creative offspring and/or inspirations to draw up new plans and designs are featured. Circumstances and key players are directing you to be sober and realistic regarding important choices with long-term consequences. This is a good time to invest but avoid risky gambles for short-term gain.
Leo (July 22 – Aug 23)
Some important and powerful events close to home are a source of excitement and possibly intrigue. These may be stirring your imagination and possibly some fears. There is beauty in the mix but you may have to look deeply to see it. Meanwhile, the time is right to reach out and venture to increase your exposure and influence.
Virgo (Aug 23 – Sep 22)
A busy cycle has begun. It requires that you give more to people and situations than usual. At deeper levels you are being pushed to lay claim to hidden or dormant gifts. This theme will become increasingly evident over the coming months. You will be required to confront certain fears to claim them. Fortunately, you are in a sporting mood.
Libra (Sep 22 – Oct 22)
Financial ambitions and responsibilities are stirring. These are moving you to dig deeper than usual. Making key investments is implied. These may include simply the investment of time and energy to pay-off smaller lingering debts and generally tie-up loose ends to clear the way for larger interests. Meanwhile, increasing your social network and expanding horizons brings joy.
Scorpio (Oct 22 – Nov 21)
A busy time exploring new horizons continues. These may be as much in your own mind and perceptions as actually entering new territory. You may also be more willing to sample than commit just now. Altogether, this is yet another phase of a steadily changing daily rhythm and lifestyle in general. This trend will continue.
Sagittarius (Nov 21 – Dec 21)
The next phase of letting go has begun. Breaking free of all attachments and expectations is a challenge. Surrender does not mean defeat. It implies accepting larger powers are at play and trusting that you will live to fully engage again another day. Keep breathing and trusting. PS – Don’t shoot the messenger.
Capricorn (Dec 21 – Jan 19)
You are nearing the peak and/or the end of a major cycle. It will linger through to the end of the year and into the summer of 2015 in dribs and drabs, but it is almost complete. Still, there remains enough time to make some final key moves and assertions. These could even prove to turn the entire game around. ‘It is not over until it is over!’
Aquarius (Jan 19 – Feb 19)
Some promising sprouts should be appearing in your public and professional sphere, as long as you have actually sown seeds. It is important that you assist the process by watering and weeding and bringing the light of your focused intention to your goals. You may have been feeling uncertain and a little lost these past few weeks. Trust the sprouts will grow and cooperate accordingly.
Pisces (Feb 19 – Mar 20)
Balancing a perspective between seeing the bigger picture over the longer term and attending to various details is a current theme. This implies homework. There does remain the issue of losing or scattering your focus. As well, despite various setbacks you should feel sustained by deeper layers of faith and confidence. Look for the silver linings in those details.
