Kings take silver from Revelstoke

The Cranbrook Pee Wee B H&R Block Kings came home with silver after a weekend tournament in Revelstoke.

The Kings were two and one heading into the semi-finals where they took on the Windermere Valley Rockies who entered the game in first place after round robin play with a three win, no loss record.  The Kings got on the board early and never looked back, taking the game 8-5 to move on to the finals late Sunday afternoon versus the Summerland Jets.

The Kings clawed back from a 4-1 deficit with two quick goals in the last five minutes of the game to bring it to 4-3.  An empty netter by Summerland with eight seconds to play sealed the game and left the Kings with second place overall.

The Kings next tournament action is in Kelowna in early December.
