To celebrate Legion Week the Cranbrook Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 24, with the help of Egress Veterans Society and Mr. Mikes, will be hosting a Community BBQ in Rotary Park on Friday, September 26 from 3 to 6 p.m.

Look for us in the area of the Cenotaph and Wall of Honour. The purpose of Legion Week is to promote the importance of Legions in our communities.

Our mission to support veterans and their families as well as our continuing contribution to the well-being of our community.

We will be taking the opportunity to share the history of the of the Cenotaph and Wall of Honour and our commitment to preserve and protect these memorials to our Cranbrook and area sons and daughters.

We will share some wonderful photos of Cranbrook’s History as well as showcase some amazing award-winning talent honouring veterans by our local youth.
