Library launches fun naming challenge

Tired of seeing the same old “Returned Books” carts? Cranbrook Public Library is inviting you to help give them a fun, new identity! We’re launching a community-wide naming challenge to find the perfect names for three of our book return carts.

Here’s how you can get involved in the CART-ASTIC NAMING CHALLENGE:

  • Suggest Names (Starting Friday, March 14):
    • Share your creative ideas on our social media pages.
    • Write down your suggestions and drop them off at the library.
  • Vote for the Winners (March 24 – 31):
    • Our special judges will pick the best names from all the submissions.
    • Then, YOU get to vote for your favorite finalists right here in the library!

“Our returned book carts were looking a little ‘blah,’ and we wanted to inject some fun and community spirit into the library,” said Mike Selby, Programs and Community Development Librarian. “We’re so excited to see the imaginative and fun names our patrons come up with!”

The winning names will be revealed shortly after the in library voting closes!
