Line painting work is expected to begin Wednesday in Cranbrook, starting with the downtown core and the painting of crosswalks. From there, road-painting operations will branch out across the city.

Work is expected to take nearly two weeks, weather permitting.

Please give the line painting equipment space to work, when you are driving by. It is also important to stay away from the wet paint.

The city is on the leading edge of what promises to be a very busy road construction season. Drivers are reminded to slow down and move over when travelling through construction or road work zones. It is important we keep city crews and our contractors safe. Please follow and obey directions of flaggers and signs.
