The Cranbrook Lions Club recently presented a cheque for $200 to Samantha Sorensen, representing Kootenay Project Adventure (KPA).
KPA is an adventure program for visually impaired youth in the East and West Kootenay District.

Samantha explained that the program focused on blind and visually challenged students between the ages of six and 17.

Some of the adventures they have taken part in include, cross country skiing, dog sledding, rock climbing and tandem biking to name a few.
