Local dragon boaters race in Lethbridge
The Abreast in the Rockies dragon boat team travelled to Lethbridge recently to take part in the annual festival.
There are a number of new members on our team and many had never experienced a festival before. We were welcomed by the Lethbridge festival committee and the many volunteers that make it all work.
Of course, there was lots of cheering, laughs and hard work. Everyone enjoyed the camaraderie the festival, the push to the finish line and of course, the food and beer gardens. It was a great experience and we were always first in our lane!
