Local firefighters provide $25k to Burn Fund Centre
Cranbrook firefighters recently attended BC Burn Fund Open House and Tour of Burn Fund Centre facility while in Vancouver, taking part in the Redmond Health and Safety Symposium.
Cranbrook firefighters proudly made personal donations of over $26,000 to sponsor the kitchen on the third floor while in construction.
The firefighters raised the funds out of their own pockets over a three-year period, donating $1 a day each over that time.
