Local students host successful bilingual Storytime
Young learners recently enjoyed a special bilingual French-English story time presented by students from Mount Baker Secondary School and Parkland Middle School.
“This special story time was a collaborative effort between the French language programs at Parkland Middle School, Mount Baker high school and the Canadian Parents for French Cranbrook/Fernie Chapter,” said Cranbrook Public Library’s Children and Youth Programmer.
“It is a great opportunity for older students to engage with younger children and share their passion for language and reading.”
Another bilingual story time is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, from 10:30 to 11:15 a.m. at the Cranbrook Public Library.
It is free to attend and no registration is required.
