Basketball teams from Fernie Secondary School and Kimberley’s Selkirk Secondary are taking part in the Mount Baker Secondary School’s Senior Boys’ tournament this weekend. Teams from Creston, Golden, Castlegar and Grand Forks are also coming to Cranbrook for the Feb. 2/3 tourney.

School officials and players are encouraging the community to turn out for the tourney (see the schedule below) to cheer the home team on and to help them raise funds.

“We are going to have a concession and sell Jaffray’s famous ‘Taco in a Bag’ for $6 to help raise funds for Provincials, and there should be some really good games for people to watch,” said MBSS staff member and sports reporter Kaley Wasylowich.
