Kootenay East MLA Tom Shypitka is urging constituents to attend the Caribou Community Engagement Session in Cranbrook on Tuesday, April 30.

“This is your chance to have a say in the Caribou Recovery Plan, which has major implications for local industry, jobs and recreation right here in the East Kootenay. It’s also the last caribou meeting in the province,” stated Shypitka on social media.

Staff from the provincial and federal governments will be there to share information and answer questions about the draft agreements, during the engagement session that runs from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Prestige Rocky Mountain Resort.
