New Dawn donates to Junior Builder Program

The Kootenay ICE, in collaboration with New Dawn Developments, has announced the launch of the ICE Junior Builder Program.

New Dawn Developments has graciously donated 544 tickets for families to attend ICE home games this season.

The ICE Junior Builder Program provides future junior builders in the community the opportunity to attend an ICE game, free of charge, simply by applying online.

Those who apply will have the chance to acquire up to four tickets (two adults and two children maximum) to an ICE home game courtesy of New Dawn. All ICE junior builders will also have a player visit following home games. An ICE staff member will reach out by email to each selected applicant to select the date of the home game and to coordinate ticket pick-up.

“The ICE have a stated goal of engaging youth and families,” said Chad Jensen, president of New Dawn Developments. “The ICE Junior Builder Program is a great way for New Dawn to encourage and celebrate future junior builders in our community.”

“We are very thankful to New Dawn Developments for their support and investment in this community engagement program,” said Raylin Kirsch, Vice President. “Being able to host youth and families is very rewarding for all involved.”
