Nominate an exceptional woman
The Community Coordination for Safety in Relationships wants to recognize the exceptional women in your life for International Women’s Day 2019.
Do you know a woman who does important work for gender equity and balance? Do you know a woman who has made the lives of women in our community better?
Submit your nomination by writing a poem, making a piece or art, or writing a paragraph explaining why a woman in your life deserves to be recognized for her efforts.
Submit your nomination in person to Canadian Mental Health Association for the Kootenays (100-1000 21st Avenue North). Please write “International Women’s Day Nomination” on the submission. Names of people who submit nominations will be kept anonymous.
Ten extraordinary women will be selected and recognized on International Women’s Day, March 8.
