Over 10 tons of food rounded up in city-wide drive
A city-wide food drive held by the Cranbrook Food Bank and volunteers April 27 produced a tremendous result.
The Cranbrook Food Bank reported 20,436 pounds of food was in the city last Saturday.
This is more than double the amount collected last year. What an incredible day! Thank you to everyone who donated. We know times are tough, so every pound of food means so much,” the Food Bank stated on social media.
“Huge shout out to all the volunteers who made this event a huge success! Cranbrook, you are amazing and we are humbled once again by your incredible generosity.”
