This year United Way East Kootenay is celebrating our 17th annual Park-On-Us Campaign in our 50th Anniversary year.

The success of this event is only possible, with the generous support of the City of Cranbrook and our local businesses and organizations.  Events such as this ensure that we continue to direct 80 to 85% of community donations towards priority, focus area investments that improve and strengthen support systems for residents.  Help will be there when needed.

Park on Us (on September 20 this year) has become our largest fundraiser with free parking enjoyed by all.  Participation fell in 2018 and our goal this year is to increase the number of signs sold to the level of our most successful years with 150 participants.  If you have participated in the past thank you, and we hope you will support our event again this year.  This annual event is a great time for businesses to donate towards community social issues through the United Way.

In order to make certain that you secure meter placement directly in front of your business or your preferred area downtown, please make your commitment today!  Two types of signs are offered:  small signs 8 ½ by 11 inches with your business name only at $25 each or a large sign 14 by 16 inches with your business name and logo for $250.
