Partnership spays and neuters 14 cats
Fourteen Cranbrook cats were recently spayed or neutered as a result of a partnership between Cranbrook Veterinary Clinic and Meant 2B Loved Pet Rescue Society.
Veterinary staff volunteered their time and took part in fundraising which, combined with a grant awarded to Meant 2B Loved from Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary, enabled the groups to work together to offer a free spay/neuter clinic in November.
Meant 2B Loved provided transportation for those needing it, including the wide-eyed beauty in the photo. Spaying and/or neutering not only helps reduce the number of unwanted, stray, and feral cats in our region but also provides health benefits to the cats.
