Peabody officially declared elected
The results of Saturday’s (Oct. 21) City of Cranbrook by-election have now been made official by Chief Election Officer Sarann Press this afternoon (Oct. 25).
Mike Peabody (pictured above) will be joining Cranbrook council for the final year of its four-year term. He replaces Tom Shypitka who resigned his seat after being elected Kootenay East MLA last spring.
The next municipal election is in October 2018.
