Poetry Challenge met by Howie Mason
Local poet Howie Mason helped the City of Cranbrook meet the 2018 Poetry Challenge when he recited ‘The Truck Logger ‘April 23 in council chambers.
“This was so much fun! Each year, we have met the Poetry Challenge; which has our council inviting a community member to chambers, to recite a poem. Howie Mason did a fabulous job reciting The Truck Logger. Please note that there is some ‘adult humour’ in this poem- in case you are watching at work,” explained Coun. Danielle Eaton on Facebook following the Monday evening meeting.
