Police trying to identify liquor theft suspect
Cranbrook RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in a liquor theft.
The female suspect is seen on surveillance camera entering the Great Canadian Liquor Warehouse, she appears to grab a bottle of liquor and exiting then store without paying.
The suspect is described as:
- Female;
- Early 20s;
- Approximately 5’7” in height;
- Light brown/dark blonde hair.
“Some may see shoplifting as a minor crime, however when our local businesses have to endure repeated thefts it not only has enormous impacts on the business, but also their staff and the community as a whole,” said S/Sgt. Barry Graham, Cranbrook RCMP Detachment commander.
“The support of the community is crucial in helping us identify and hold suspects accountable.”
Police are asking anyone who recognizes this individual, or who may have information related to this incident, to contact the Cranbrook RCMP non-emergency line at 250-489-3471.
