Political heavyweights to speak at chamber luncheons

Cranbrook Chamber of Commerce’s September and October luncheons will feature political heavy hitters as guest speakers.

First up Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Heritage Inn & Conference Centre is BC Liberal Party leader Andrew Wilkinson (pictured right above).

The Official Opposition leader and Vancouver-Quilchena MLA will address issues from the pipeline purchase/expansion to employer health tax right through to US trade tariffs, LNG production, Speculation Tax and proportional representation.

The doors open at 11:15 a.m. and lunch is at 11:40 a.m.

And on October 11 at the Heritage Inn & Conference Centre the guest speaker will be Attorney General David Eby, Minister responsible for Liquor, Gaming and ICBC.

The Rotary Club of Cranbrook is partnering with the Cranbrook chamber to co-host this luncheon event.

Please note this luncheon is on a Thursday and the doors open at noon with lunch service at 12:30 p.m.
