RCMP investigating two Christmas robberies
Cranbrook RCMP is investigating two robberies that took place in the early morning hours of Dec. 25 and 26.
The first incident occurred at the 7-11 store on Cranbrook Street North and the second incident was at the Prestige Inn and Conference Centre.
Police are looking for a male described as 6’2” tall, slender with light brown or reddish hair.
“He appeared unshaven. He was wearing a black hoodie with a hood up in the first incident and a beige camouflage hoodie with black ball cap in the second,” reported Cpl. Shayne Parker of Cranbrook RCMP.
Police are asking for local businesses to be on the alert for this male and to call if a subject matching this description enters the premise, Cpl. Parker said.
