Cranbrook RCMP this evening report that foul play has been ruled out after a deceased male was found in the city this morning.

Shortly after 8 a.m. (Oct. 3) Cranbrook RCMP responded to a report of deceased male on a walking trail near Kinsman Park.

“The deceased has since been identified and foul play ruled out.  The result is no less tragic but, it is important to advise area residents their safety was not compromised.  Our sincerest condolences go out to the family,” stated S/Sgt Barry Graham, Cranbrook RCMP Detachment commander.
