On May 12, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Cranbrook RCMP responded to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle that was being driven extremely erratically in the Cranbrook area.

The vehicle cut off a driver, blew a tire and continued driving at a high rate of speed.  The vehicle was later discovered on Baker Mountain Road on a forest service road where it was located on fire.

The vehicle was a blue 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer-four door sedan.

Cranbrook RCMP is seeking the public ‘s assistance for any witnesses who may have observed this vehicle travelling along 2^nd Street South and Baker Mountain Road in Cranbrook.

Cranbrook RCMP request anyone with CCTV or dash cam video of this vehicle to call 250-489-3471.
