Rolling Barrage arriving in Cranbrook August 14
There is going to be a r-r-rumble in Cranbrook on Thursday, August 14. But a good kind of rumble.
The ninth annual Rolling Barrage will be arriving in the city on their cross-country trek and a BBQ and fundraiser will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 24 (at Heritage Inn & Convention Centre) starting at 6 p.m.
“We’re excited to once again host the Rolling Barrage riders as they make their way across Canada in support of veterans, active military and first responders living with PTSD. This event is part of a national coast-to-coast motorcycle ride, now in its ninth year, and Cranbrook is proud to be one of their most beloved stops,” explained Sandra Haley, a local representative of the Rolling Barrage.
“Last year, we welcomed over 150 riders and supporters—and we’re hoping for even more this year! This evening will be filled with great food, meaningful conversations, and strong community spirit.”
Funds raised go directly to programs supporting mental health, transition services, and ongoing care for those who serve and protect our communities.
Everyone is welcome to attend the barbecue but let organizers know you will be attending (and how many) so they can plan accordingly.
