Rotary aids Trout Hatchery thanks to Gran Fondo
We’re always fishing for ‘fin-tastic’ community granting ‘oppor-tuna-ties’ like this one!
Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary’s Community Granting Committee was ‘krilled’ to ‘o-fish-ally’ present a cheque for $500 to David Oliver, BC Wildlife Federation Fishing Forever Chairperson.
This Sunrise Rotary grant will fund an information sign at the Kootenay Trout Hatchery Visitor Centre as part of their concrete pad gazebo project, where they teach fishing. This grant is close to our heart and ‘sole’ as our club has a long history with the Kootenay Trout Hatchery through our Kootenay Rockies – Gran Fondo.
‘Holy carp!’ There’s no ‘de-baiting’ that Sunrise Rotary offers fun, fellowship, and fishing puns! We welcome new members. Drop us a line, and check out one of our Tuesday morning meetings.
