Rotary Bingo proceeds flow back to the community

$5,000 to Cranbrook Food Bank

When you play Rotary Community Online Bingo not only do you have a chance of winning but at the same time money spent goes back into your community.

A little fact that from just March 3 to July 2, Nancy (Cranbrook Rotary Noon Club) and myself – Penny (Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club) have handed out over $114,720.53 in cheques to lucky winners!

Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary club has taken their portion of proceeds received and to date has donated a total of $51,000 of the funds received to date to support the following organizations.

Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary along with the 15 other clubs from the East and West Kootenay donated $50,000 to JoeAnna’s House.

Donations made to date by the Cranbrook Sunrise Rotary Club is a follows:

$5,000 to East Kootenay Hospital Foundation – Foundry Project along Cranbrook Rotary Club’s $5,000 for a total of $10,000 which was matched.

$10,000 to the Railway Museum – Elko Train Project.

$5,000 to Wee Bike.

$10,000 to Key City Theatre for the Raise the Curtains Project.

$5,000 to the East Kootenay SPCA

And the newest donations are:

$5,000 to the BGC Cranbrook Impact (formerly know as the Boys and Girls Club) lead image;

$5,000 to Cranbrook Food Bank;

$5,000 to the East Kootenay SPCA;

Still to be handed out is $3,000 the Wycliffe Exhibition Society.
