Rotary officially opening Moir Park Trail Phase 2 Oct. 12

The City of Cranbrook’s Moir Park is the hidden jewel of our community’s parks system.

A large off the beaten path expanse of perfect playing fields, a handy field house and quiet forests, with a spectacular view, can now be enjoyed via Rotary paved trails.

Bring your grandkids, your kids, your dog and your good humour.  Join us at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday to cut the ribbon, with Rotary Club of Cranbrook President Heidi Romich, JCI Kootenay Jonah Gowans, Dave Kaiser Rotary Projects Chair, Joe McGowan Rotary Project Op’s and Acting Mayor Ron Popoff.

Thanks so much to our partners: JCI Kootenay, City of Cranbrook, Colombia Basin Trust, McElhanney Engineering, BA Blacktop, EMCO Waterworks, Layfield Geosynthetics!

Rotary brings together a global network of community leaders and ordinary people dedicated to tackling the world’s most pressing humanitarian challenges. We connect 1.2 million members from more than 35,000 Rotary clubs in almost every country in the world. Rotary improves lives both locally and internationally, from helping those in need in their own communities to working toward a polio-free world.
