Sandy Elliott, EKRH RN gives back

When Sandy Elliott, a registered nurse at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital, found herself with an extra pair of tickets for a sought-after concert she decided instead of selling them to create a raffle to help to local non-profit groups.

The draw was completed just recently and lucky Lynn Pommier of Kimberley won the tickets for Row 21 on the floor at the Garth Brooks concert at the Calgary Stampede!

Fifty per cent of the ticket raffle proceeds went to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s A Clear View  ~ digital mammography campaign and 50% to the Kimberley Dynamiters hockey club. Each organization received $1,410.00 from the raffle!

Congrats Lynn and thank you to Sandy Elliott for your amazing generosity.
