Cranbrook SAR hall violated
Last night (Wednesday, Nov. 23) the Cranbrook Search and Rescue (SAR) hall was broken into by an unknown subject (or subjects).
The rescue truck that has lifesaving gear inside was stolen, but thankfully found abandoned undamaged.
“We’re a non-profit organization, made of volunteers who put in countless hours helping and saving people in the community; we’re disappointed that someone could disrespect our property and steal from Search and Rescue,” Cranbrook SAR stated on its Facebook page tonight.
“At this time we don’t have a suspect; the RCMP are currently investigating the case. We hope that everyone who reads this post shares it and we will find our person/persons reponsible. If you have any information please contact the RCMP,” SAR asks the public.
