On November 20 at approximately 4:45 p.m., Cranbrook RCMP responded to a report of a collision between a truck and a pedestrian on Highway 3/95 near 1st Street North.

Investigation revealed a southbound pickup truck collided with a 64-year-old male who was proceeding through the crosswalk.

Cranbrook RCMP rendered first aid to the male who was transported to East Kootenay Regional Hospital where he is being treated for serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Anyone with dash cam footage or who may have witnessed the collision are asked to contact Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471.
