Cranbrook Tourism is excited to introduce ‘Shop CBK, Get Rewards,’ an initiative designed to encourage support for local businesses while rewarding shoppers for their loyalty. Starting March 19, residents and visitors can earn and redeem rewards by shopping at locally-owned establishments throughout Cranbrook.

Participants can earn five per cent rewards for every purchase made at participating businesses, which can then be applied towards their next local purchase.

Here’s how it works:

Download the Open Rewards App: Available for free on both the Google Play Store and Apple Store. New users will receive a $10 sign-up bonus upon selecting Cranbrook in the app.

Shop Local, Earn Rewards: Shop at any of the local businesses participating in the Shop CBK program, you can find these in the app or on our website. Simply scan your receipt using the Open Rewards app to receive five per cent rewards on your purchase, ready to be redeemed for future transactions.

Redeem Rewards: Once you’ve accumulated rewards, redeem them by submitting a receipt from another local purchase, and receive funds right to your bank account. It’s that easy!
