Nearly 150 residents of Slaterville took part in a special community barbecue on Thursday, September 15.
City of Cranbrook Councillor and mayoral hopeful Jim Wavrecan and Coun. Bob Whetham attended to help flip burgers and meet with residents.
The barbecue, a ‘community building’ event, was coordinated by the Slaterville Advisory Group which is assisting the City of Cranbrook in preparing the Slaterville Neighbourhood Plan.
