Smile Cookies campaign underway

Tim Hortons partners up with the East Kootenay Foundation for Health and the Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary

It is that time of year again for Smile Cookies at Tim Horton’s!

Beginning today (September 11), both locations of Cranbrook Tim Hortons will be selling these yummy cookies for only $1.

You will also find the Cranbrook Health Care Auxiliary selling them in the lobby of the hospital.  And, if you really like them, The East Kootenay Foundation for Health will be selling whole cases of cookies for $140.

All of the proceeds from the Smile Cookie Campaign in Cranbrook will go directly to the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in support of purchasing much needed equipment.

At the same time, it was the Foundations intention to work with local business and provide cookies directly to the fire crews fighting the fires around Cranbrook, just to say thank you for their tireless efforts. But after speaking with the BC Wildfire Service, for many practical reasons we are unable to do that. Instead, the BC Wildfire Service has asked us all to eat these cookies in their honour, or buy a whole case and give them to your family, friends, favourite group or customers.

By contributing you will be making a difference in Health Care for our region! Cookies can be ordered by calling 250-489-6481 or email Tim Hortons Cranbrook has donated over $200,000 to Health Care in our region.
