Roads re-opened after RCMP give all-clear
UPDATE: Cranbrook RCMP has re-opened the roads. More details will be provided later today.
Cranbrook RCMP is currently dealing with a police incident in the 1700 block of Cranbrook Street North from Willowbrook Road west to approximately mid block.
Ridgeview Road is currently closed at the west end at Willowbrook Road. Traffic may also be affected westbound on Cranbrook St North from Willowbrook Rd to Theatre Road.
“If possible, please refrain from travelling in this area until further notice in order to reduce traffic congestion. Please slow down and obey all police personal and traffic controllers in the area,” asked Sgt. Chris Dodds, Acting Detachment Commander of Cranbrook RCMP.
A further, more detailed update on this ongoing incident will be provided by the Cranbrook RCMP later today.
