Tour of Honour at Legion today
The Tour of Honour will be visiting Cranbrook’s Royal Canadian Legion (Branch No. 24) at 806 Cranbrook Street North and from 4-6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, to raise awareness of Honour House in the emergency first responder and military personnel communities (serving and retired) in Cranbrook and the surrounding area.
Honour House is a home away from home for emergency service members and Canadian Armed Forces personnel and their families when they are ill or injured and need a place to stay during treatment and recovery in the Lower Mainland.
In the future, Honour Ranch will be focusing on assisting with mental health injuries and PTSD in a serene and welcoming environment. This will become a respite place for early intervention for mental health injuries and recovery.
The event will also feature a barbecue.
The Cranbrook Legion is located behind the Heritage Inn.
