Tristen Chernove homecoming at Optimism event

tristen-chernove-rio-2016-paralympic-gamesCanada’s only 2016 Rio Paralympic Summer Games three medal winner – Tristen Chernove of Cranbrook – will be making his first public appearance in Cranbrook during the Optimism in the East Kootenay event Sept. 21.

Welcome him home in style as he takes the stage at Key City Theatre tomorrow evening – Wednesday, September 21 at 7 p.m. Pre show is 6:30 pm.

Event organizer Tom Shypitka is thrilled that Tristen will be attending. “Tristen’s performance representing Canada at the Paralympics are nothing short of amazing. We are looking forward to hearing about his experiences in Rio and to give our community the opportunity to celebrate with him,” he said of Chernove’s brilliant and gutsy performance at Rio.

Proceeds from the evening go to the East Kootenay Foundation for Health’s MRI Campaign.
