Turn failure ends up on Hydro box
Earlier this afternoon (August 5) a car driven by a Cranbrook resident drove through a locked gate at the Western Financial Place parking lot. The car came to rest when it hit a BC Hydro power box located outside the Cranbrook Curling Club.
The lone female occupant of the vehicle was transported to East Kootenay Regional Hospital by BC Ambulance. Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services and BC Hydro attended in order to ensure the area was safe.
A Cranbrook resident is currently being investigated for impaired driving. RCMP is requesting anyone who may have witnessed the event or events that led up to the accident to contact the Cranbrook RCMP.
