UCT boosts CAPC coffers
United Commercial Travels (UCT) has helped numerous organizations in Cranbrook. Their generous donation of $450 to Community Action Program for Children (CAPC) will help fund some special events for families.
All CAPC drop-in programs are free for families with children from birth to six years of age.
Last year, CAPC received additional funding and was able to hire a musician to play children’s music one day in the summer at Rotary Park and over one hundred people attended.
In December, CAPC was able to hire a photographer to take free family portraits as well as a musician for our Christmas party and over one hundred families attended.
Due to their popularity and positive feedback from families, we would like to offer both of these event again this year. Thanks to the generous donation from UCT we will be able to achieve this goal.
