Venting allows for pile burning east of city
Pile burning is happening on private lands to the east of the Community Forest today (February 14).
The B.C. government considers the venting conditions favourable in Cranbrook currently.
This work is being done under the jurisdiction of the province’s Open Burning, Smoke Control and under the supervision of the property owner.
