The City of Cranbrook’s annual water main flushing operations will be moving to the Highlands area of Cranbrook starting on Tuesday, April 28, with work expected to occur over several days.

Some customers may experience discolouration in the water for a short period while this flushing work is done. If you do have discolouration, please run your cold water tap until the water runs clear. This discolouration is not a public health concern.

The annual flushing program is done each year to ensure water mains are clear of sediment in order to provide the best water quality possible to your home and business. The City will provide updates regularly, so you know where the flushing program is moving to next.

The City of Cranbrook appreciates the patience and understanding of our residents and businesses as this important flushing program unfolds.
