UPDATE:

Water service has been restored to those residents impacted by today’s service repair work on 2^nd Street South.

If your water is discoloured, run your cold water until it runs clear.  Vehicle access along 2^nd Street South between 24^th Avenue South and 27^th Avenue South will reopen late this afternoon or early evening, once the backfilling work is complete.

City of Cranbrook waterworks crews with Public Works need to shut down water service on 2^nd Street South this morning, between 24^th Avenue South and 27^th Avenue South for a required water service repair.

Water may be off for a good portion of the morning.  Drivers, please watch for signage and detour around the area.
