We are ready for spring at Cranbrook Arts

Coming up this month we have lots on the go at Cranbrook Arts.

In the Art Workshop and Pottery Studio we are excited for special guest instructors Asha Robertson from the Little Big Studio; offering a Hand-building Functional Ware Pottery Class and Melanie MacVoy teaching her Creating Depth and Atmosphere in Landscape Painting (pictured at bottom).

In addition, we have a fantastic line-up of other classes to choose from.

Along with our staple Art and Pottery classes we have put together a variety of low cost and free community programming including Free Toddler Tues, Free Monthly Family Nights, Afterschool Art Club, Art Night with Mo, and Wed Open Studio.

Registration for our Spring Classes and Community Programming opens Monday, March 4.

Head over to www.cranbrookarts.com for details and registration.

In the Gallery we have Veronica Funk’s Closing Reception 6-8 p.m. Friday, Mar. 9. Veronica’s Artist talk is set to start at 6:30. The reception and talk are open to everyone and free to attend. (Some of her work is pictured above.)

Our next exhibition is the “Art in the Park” Residency Program – Artwork created by nine Artists in Glacier National Park in the Summer of 2022, as a part of the Artist Residency program hosted by Parks Canada in partnership with the Revelstoke Public Gallery, March 15 to April 27.

The Gallery Shop saw a refresh of artwork in February. We have lots of new unique artwork by over 30 local artists. Gallery and Gallery Shop hours are 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Wed. – Sat.
