A significant water system replacement project scheduled to happen overnight Wednesday, February 21 has now been postponed for a couple of weeks.

City of Cranbrook Public Works staff has been busy with a couple of large water main breaks over the past 24 hours, which has not allowed them to do the necessary preparation work required for the water project. This has created the delay.

The city will provide information to affected residents and neighbourhoods about the new dates including maps of the affected areas as soon as possible.

The City of Cranbrook apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates the understanding and the patience of the public.
